Gap UK has added Banana Republic and Athleta to its website as it rolls out 20 more concessions inside Next stores.
The expansion comes after Next, which now operates Gap UK, acquired 51% of the US fashion giant’s UK business in 2021 following its collapse.
Gap said that the Banana Republic and Athleta launch offered an increased product choice for customers, allowing them to shop all three brands in one destination, as reported in Retail Gazette.
Jon Jeffery, Gap UK & Ireland managing director, said: “Banana Republic and Athleta enable us to show increased product choice to our UK customers.
“Both brands offer unique perspectives that will delight our loyal customer base while introducing new audiences to Gap.co.uk.”
The new Gap concessions will open this week inside stores including Next’s Edinburgh Fort, Leicester Highcross and London Kew Retail Park branches.
The retailer opened its first concession inside Next’s Oxford Street store in March last year, marking the US brand’s return to the UK high street after closing all its stores the previous year.
Last month Next added FatFace to its growing list of retail acquisitions.
